Stephen Metcalfe, MP for South Basildon & East Thurrock, is visiting nearly every school in the constituency to present Platinum Jubilee Certificates. The certificates are designed by Stephen himself and offered to all schools in the constituency to commemorate the memorable year. This follows on from the individual certificates given to every student earlier this year.

On Friday 11th November, Stephen visited Gable Hall School to award to them their Platinum Jubilee Committee.

Stephen Metcalfe said: “I believe it is critically important that MPs engage with local schools. They are the community’s life blood. 

I was very happy to present a Platinum Jubilee Certificate to Gable Hall. I applaud their hard work during this very strange year of immense change. I also enjoyed seeing their fantastic flag display in preparation for Remembrance Sunday.”
