Stephen Metcalfe, MP for South Basildon & East Thurrock, was pleased to accept an invitation to attend the Park Play event at Eversley Sports Ground, recently.
Park Play, part of ATF (Achieve Thrive Flourish), is a simple idea – it’s an event of fun and games held every Saturday where everyone is welcome. It is free and is organised at seven such parks in the local area with hundreds of people taking part weekly.
Stephen Metcalfe said: “Park Play is a great opportunity for people across the community to get together to enjoy themselves, get some exercise and to make new friends. I’d encourage everyone to have a look at the website and find out where their nearest park play event is. I would also like to thank the organisers, particularly Stuart and all his team at ATP for the work they are doing to support our community”.
